Continuing the Legacy
Following her father’s footsteps, Dr. B’s entrance into the field of dentistry began at home.
Dental Education
Dr. B graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in public health. After undergrad, she attended a dental post-baccalaureate program at University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and San Francisco State University in San Francisco, California. Dr. B then went on to attend ECU's School of Dental Medicine to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Following graduation, she completed a General Practice Residency, a hospital based program, from Louisiana State University’s Health Science Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Advanced Training
In pursuit of advanced training, she completed a program in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from Georgia School of Orthodontics in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. B also has extensive continuing education in the areas of cosmetic, biomimetic, implant, and digital dentistry.
Professional Memberships
Dr. B is an active member of the American Dental Association, National Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, American Academy of Laser Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, North Carolina Dental Society, and the Old North State Dental Society.
Beyond Dentistry
In her personal life, she loves traveling and spending time with family, friends, and her mini berne-doodle, Mica. She also enjoys mentoring students and volunteering in the community.
